Cyndi
Proprietor/Stylist Cyndi Fraser is the creator of Belle Avance Salon. Cyndi relocated to Dahlonega from Atlanta in 1999. She wanted to create a relaxing atmosphere for people to go and transform themselves. With nearly two decades experience, enviable talent and a heart that knows no boundaries, Cyndi embodies all that is great about this business. She has received extensive training at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, as well as the Modern Organic Products Academy (MOP) in Chicago, which included hands on cutting from MOP’s artistic directors Matthew Williams of New York and Julie Mustoffa-Meggitt of Colorado. Cyndi’s philosophy is hair is your fabric and the one accessory that you wear daily. It should be modern, natural, but with an edge. She is a field educator for MOP and served for 3 years on the Board of Educators at Lanier Technical College for the Cosmetology Department. Rarely do you find a stylist who cares so deeply about her profession and the people whose lives she touches.

Molly   Stylist Molly Jackson relocated to Dahlonega from the Gwinnett area in 1999 to attend North Georgia College and State University. While attending college she realized her dream was to attend Lanier Technical College for Cosmetology. Molly helps clients identify what works for their hair texture, facial structure and lifestyle. Her concern and devotion to her clientele rival only the very finest this industry has to offer. Molly has attended several advanced cutting classes with MOP and her cutting technique transcends her experience as a stylist. She has also become a Redken custom color blending specialist and has found very creative ways of foiling hair with innovative techniques. With such talent and such heart, Molly’s surely someone you want on your team.

Dawn   Please help us in welcoming our newest member to the Belle Avance family. Michele Granger relocated to Dahlonega in 1996 to attend North Georgia College and State University. After graduating in 2000 she worked in the marketing field for three years. She finally realized that the office environment never fulfilled her desire for creative expression. As a long time salon client, imagine our joy when Michele told us she was interested in pursuing a career in cosmetology and she wanted to join us. Since graduating from Lanier Technical College for Cosmetology, she currently works as a New Talent which is a program developed to further her education in cutting, color blending and styling. Upon completion of the New Talent program she will advance to a stylist position. You might initially mislabel Michele as shy, and there may be a bit of reserve there, but Michele’s quiet demeanor may be more evident of a focus and social conscience rare among someone so young.
